Here’s what you can expect when a PureSteam technician arrives at your home:

To understand what areas are of most concern to you, our technician will inspect your carpeting and ask you about any problems areas, such as areas where pets have messed or stain-causing items have spilled.

Next, our technician will treat those areas with a nontoxic, natural pre-spray. This spray helps break the bonds between the soil and the carpet fibers, making it easier to clean.

Our technician will then use spot remover solutions to work on any hard-to-remove trouble spots. Depending on the type of problem evident, different spotter solutions may be used for different areas.

Here’s where the magic happens. Using our state-of-the-art, truck-mounted, high-powered hot water extraction system, our technician will steam clean your carpeting. This steam cleaning removes not just that easy-to-reach top layer of dirt and dust, but deeply embedded dirt too.

Although we can’t safely move larger, heavier furniture items (like beds and china cabinets, we will move small and midsize furniture items (like coffee tables, sofas, and chairs) so that the areas beneath these items are cleaned too. We use tabs to protect furniture legs, and ask that you keep the tabs in place until your carpeting is completely dry.

If requested, our technician can apply a special carpet protector. This application provides an extra level of protection for your carpeting. If applied, the application adds approximately two additional hours to the drying time.

We know that you have better things to do than wait around watching your carpet dry. That’s why our technician will use a high-velocity drying fan if needed to speed up the process.

If you have longer nap carpeting, our technician will professionally rake it to retain your carpeting’s appearance and lifespan.
