A repeat customer in Cambridge called PureSteam after an unexpected night with her dog. The dog was recovering from surgery and taking medication, which led to several accidents on the carpet in the master bedroom. By the next morning, there were multiple heavy stains that needed attention quickly.
Because we had room in the schedule, we were able to get to her home within two hours of the call. Instead of leaving her to work around the mess for the rest of the day, we could start treating the affected carpet that same morning.
Several Pet Stains in One Bedroom
This was not a routine maintenance cleaning. The accidents were concentrated throughout the master bedroom, with several highly visible spots across the light-colored carpet.
Trying to tackle that kind of mess with household spot cleaners can be difficult because the issue is not limited to what is visible on the surface. For this cleaning, we used both professional carpet steam cleaning and a pet enzyme treatment so we could give the accident areas the additional attention they needed.
We treated the affected sections and then steam-cleaned the master bedroom, working across the entire carpet rather than cleaning only the individual spots. That helped the finished room look consistent instead of leaving noticeably cleaner patches around the treated areas.
A Big Change From the Before Photos
The difference after cleaning was easy to see. The dark accident spots visible throughout the room were no longer standing out against the carpet, and the bedroom had a much cleaner, more even appearance.
For this homeowner, getting help quickly was especially useful. She was already dealing with a dog recovering from surgery, so getting the carpet handled within a couple of hours meant one less thing to worry about that day. It was also another chance to help a repeat customer who already knew she could call PureSteam when something unexpected came up.
